Stock pick after Easter
Hello,
I am following a stock called China Grentech Corporation Limited. It is traded in Nasdaq.
Company's business: network optimization, RF technology products, wireless communication systems.
The main reason that caught my eyes on this stock is the price killing activity recently.
Stock markets seems to cast out this stock totally, and I am looking forward to the moment the stock price starts climbing higher.
Just a 1-2 weeks ago it was traded at 4 USD level, and currently it is traded at the range of 2,83-3,01 USD.
The reason for price decline might be the press release before Easter that basically gives the information on decreased revenues. However, the outlook for the industry is getting brighter and now it is not time to watch back but to look ahead and start to discount the future cashflows as the economy is slowly starting to grow. The company strong in China - one of the largest markets in the world - which is a positive thing for the future cashflows.
There is a lot of positive information in the press release, for example, the R&D is made more efficient and the cost declines in this area.
The stock markets are beating too hard that particular stock and as the mainstream will refind the stock it will be too late to pick up it.. Perhaps I will buy some at these low prices....?

Stock pick of today
Hello,
I need to comment on my yesterday's stock pick. It was a success since I sold all my postion at the highest of day for $ 1,23 Canadian/share.
Today I want to introduce for you a new stock that I have been able to grab to my portfolio.
This stock is traded at Toronto Stock Exchange. It is called First Metals Inc.
As the name suggest, we are talking now about a mining stock that is specialized in copper and zinc production. The company is expecting to become profitable as the metal prices goes up because of increasing demand especially from Asia.
Now the stock is trading at the range of 0,015-0,02. The stock seems to have a market maker that keeps it in this range.
However, as the announcement of business going well will come out, the stock will skyrocket. I am expecting it go to $ 1,80-2,00 Canadian/share. The move will be immediate and fast as it is usual for mining companies.
I am not advicing people to buy this stock with all their money but in case of explosion of stock price it is nice to have a nice stack of shares. For a relatively small amount of cash you are able to purchase a stack of shares that will buy you a real estate as the price explosion will occur.

Today's stock pick
Hello,
Today's stock pick will come from Canada.
In Venture Exchange there is a stock calles Trelawney mining and exploration Inc. (TRR).
Its price was literally killed yesterday. Its closing price was only $ 1,07 Canadian and declining despite the positive start of day as it was 1,27 at its highest. Yesterday's close was $ 1,24 Canadian so the decline was 13,71 % and I believe we hit the local bottom.
I believe, not long from now, we can easily see this stock traded at the 1,40-1,50 range.
I did not notice any news concerning on this stock so I assume that the traders were nervous and closed their positions at any cost in the desperate need of cash.

Is prosperity gospel a gospel of Jesus?
Hello,
I have been thinking the issue of prosperity preaching recently.
I try to find examples from the Scriptures on modern day TV-preachers, and I don't find any.
But, the Biblical example of preacher is the opposite.
The modern day prosperity preacher needs a private jet, (s)he has to sleep the crusade nights at the best hotel in the town and (s)he is "swimming" in the money.
What is the model of the Bible?
If you look John the Baptist for instance, he wasn't wearing Hugo Boss suits, but rather a clothing made of camel's hair. He didn't eat in the top restaurants, but locusts and wild honey (Matthew 3:3).
How about "slaining by the spirit"? Where in the Bible can you find an example of the phenomenon? There are indeed some examples of this in the Bible...
Let us open John 18:4-6. When people had a plot AGAINST Jesus and recognized Him, they fell.
Another example can be found in the book of Acts chapter 5 verses 1-10. Here both Ananias and his wife, Saphira tried to fool God, and the were slain by the spirit and died at the same time.
As a summary on slaining by the spirit, in the Bible it is not in flattering contexts. Thus, we can conclude that it is not a thing that belongs to the real God's church.

A stock pick for a long portfolio

Today's stock pick is from Oslo Stock Exchange.
It's called Golden Ocean Group and it is a shipping company.
It made profits 0,53 USD/per share year 2009 which was a difficult one.
Todays ending price 11,54 NOK (=1,98 USD) it is almost free P/E being only 3,73.
The macroeconomic outlook for this year is a stimulating world economy and we can expect the shipping industries increasing profits. If the increase is 10 %, the profits turns to be 0,583 USD/share expected P/E being only 3,4.
I am setting a target price for Golden Ocean Group at 8,75 USD respectively 50,96 NOK. This means a potential gain of 440 %. When the price is 50,96 NOK it will be valued fairly without too much expectations on the future.

A stock I am following
The price of gold have been booming during the past decade and it is still continuing to boom.
That is why I have searched companies that are in mining industry. The one I am following currently can be found from Canadian Venture Exchange. This interesting company is called "Terrane Metals".
It has a raw materials or over 20 years, among other things, 6,000,000 oz of gold and a rich source of copper.
Copper is something that will skyrocket as more and more emerging countries start to construct and build.
