26th of Septermber, 2009

Soon it has been two months that we have been together with Sofia...
This weekend will be a nice one - once again.
At this point of time I am not going to tell too much since all is ahead. ;)

Today, I've been working and basically that's it. It is sad that I don't have courses enough.. I think I could easily take 2-3 more courses - and I am motivated to study more, too.
I will take a Master's course this fall. It will be all about Microecnomics (read: mathematics).. It is a huge course - double the size we usually have - it will be a 9-points' course.
But today afternoon I will be having Honey here with me. <3

21st of September 2009

The life is full of choices one has to make.
In a small scale of a human it is wether you buy a bottle of milk or not in a grocery store.
In a medium size scale of a human it is wether to do a task today or tomorrow. It is easy to postpone things to the future..
And in a large scale of an individual it is a choice wether to study or work for instance.
Today I made a medium size choice to participate to Bachelor's group that had compulsory presence requirement at the same time I should be in Swedish class which as well had a compulsory presence requirement.. No can do since I don't have a double personality so I am able to participate in one class at a time only.
Today, stock markets went slightly down. We have had enourmous rallies after enormous drop, however, Helsinki stock exchange is only 50 % from its previous highs.
Probably we might see a slight correction movement in stock markets.. If so, it has not been a profitable millenium for stock investors if we exclude dividend yields. However, in USD gold has roughly over tripled during the same period as stocks have been in a long bear markets.

Then, from the financial point of view to my personal level,I was supposed to have the most beautiful girl here as my guest during the weekend but she was disabled since she was thinking she had angina spectoris.. So, I went at her place (after all, she was healthy).. However, we had fantastic time together, watched a movie, chatted and a lot of huggings and kisses were associated to our previous weekend. <3

I wish all my readers all the best! May the Lord bless you in these very last days!

14th of September, 2009

Today, I've arrived from my Honey in the morning. We had a lot of "action" during our weekend. The hottest piece of news was our misreading of the timetables of the bus.. First we looked that the last bus shall leave at quarter to eleven in the evening.. But, it wasn't so.. So, we went back at Sofia's place and slept over the night there.
Then, in the morning I was able to catch the bus.. :)

And of course, we had a lot of good time at Honey's place. We had nice time together, playing with cards, making magic tricks with those cards and then of course our common "quality time". :)

Today, I started the necessary sessions for the Bachelor's thesis.. Everything should be finished by 31.5.2009 (oral presentations, opposings etc.), however I believe it will be ready far before that date.

12th of September 2009

I am glad to visit tomorrow at my Honey's place. I am very much looking forward to having a great time with her. :) I consider it as my hobby to love her. She really is a blessing for my life.

Preparations for the worst

I've watched today some interesting videos on YouTube concerning on preparation for the exceptional times/moments such as war.
I don't know how many people have prepared for this kind of random events - especially in Europe. I know that there are some folks (Mormons) in Utah that are storing food, toilet paper, shampoo, soap, water etc.

This kind of preparation might be wise in two senses: you always need those items and the prices of them tend to raise from year to year so you can see it as an investment to hedge your future. Secondly, if the worst really happens you don't need to regret that you have been prepared well for it.

Thus, I thought to start stockpiling food... For me personally this is good also because I usually have to throw away food since I've been not able to eat all my food supplies before their expiring dates - so can goods are just perfect for a person like me anyway.
So, my plan is to start buying cans of crushed pineapples, peaches, bags of rice, wheat and rye, spices, toilet papers (usually you get a discount if you buy a lot at one time), soaps and shampoos.

The idea of storing food and preparing for the worst scenario is very Biblical. In the first books of the Bible there is a story of Joseph who stored wheat during the seven good years for the upcoming seven bad years.

8th of September, 2009

Today I was reading quite a bit of economy and I noticed that the other economists are following my lead to start speaking about the economic recovery.
Last Shabbath as I visited at Pietarsaari Pentecostal Church the fellows there challenged my views with Niinistö's mention about that the worst is still to come (Niinistö is well respected policy maker - a former (political) minister in Finland). My response was just simply: "Niinistö is a lawyer, not an economist".. Then as I got back home I read what Niinistö said exactly.. He did say that the PUBLIC economy has the worst still to come. I agree in this with Niinistö since the government borrowed money so heavily and now we need to start paying back it.
My portfolio is cyclical strongly so I've been making quite nice stashes of cash over the last few weeks especially.
Then, working and of course, having the best phone call of the day with honey. 1 hour is easily spoken per day. :)

6th of September 2009

This weekend was a special one when it comes to my relationship: one month is full being with Sofia and decades ahead. :)
The longer I know her the sweeter she becomes. :) You know, it takes some time to fall in love in my case.
We are telephoning each other and meeting during the weekends.. Always I miss her a lot just before meeting and she is in my thoughs - wether I recognize it or not - all the time.
Soon I will take a shower and thus prepare for the challenges of next week and starting to look forward to next weekend. ;)

God bless!

4th of September, 2009

I am excited about tomorrow...
Not only because it is Shabbath day but also because I am going to meet the most attractive young woman. :)
Tomorrow will be spent mainly in Pietarsaari and probably I am back in Vaasa on Sunday afternoon/evening so try not to hesitate too much for updates. ;)

I wish my readers nice and warm weekend. Try to spend it with the people you love. :)

3rd of September, 2009

I just arrived back from Helsinki.
I was planning to take a bus from Helsinki back to Vaasa but I changed my mind as I saw that the ticket was more expensive than they advertised at matkahuolto (a ticket booking organization/company).
Here I am, emptying the mail box from all the newspapers from the previos week, just ate a couple chicken nuggets with a little bit fries.
Helsinki was nice as usual, and I got a flu as usual... :D
I found a couple of nice silver coins from Espoo (the neighboring city to Helsinki)..
Then, I found also a street that is named according to my Darling; Sofiankatu (=Sofia's street).

I wish good night everything, and have a nice autumn time from Vaasa!
