China's rise to energy consumer

I was inspired today by the editorial of Helsingin Sanomat (the Finland's major paper).
It was written on China's willingness of acquiring world's natural resources.

As China announced her willingness to get rid of U.S. dollars, she has been active in bidding raw materials and energy.

In future, China will be playing a major role in world's economy and how the pizza will be shared.

As the energy based on oil will be more scarce, economies in the world need to invest more heavily in wind energy, water energy etc.
As the technology of solar energy is higher developed, it will open new business opportunities for small companies. Solar energy is nowdays definetely underused due to the fact of under-developed technology.
Hopefully in 5-10 years the situation is different from today...
