It is a National day.. Norwegians seems to celebrate this day very well.. Boys/men were wearing suits and girls/women national clothes.
In Finland, the climax of Indepence day is to watch on TV the parties in the palace of President but here, people really go out and have fun - without alcohol (or just a little alcohol only).
Norway is among those very few peoples in Europe that is independent... Most of the European governments have surrendered their indepence to the European Parlament.
Back to business... I was hanging out a little while, watching the people in downtown and then I decided to participate to the musical "The Covenant" in local Filadelfia. The church was almost full, mostly young people.
The musical was about the history of Israel and Jewish people how they have survived miracously from tough periods.
David Ben Gurion, ex-prime minister of Israel said: "The one who doesn't believe in miracles is not a realist".. At least this can be said about the Israeli people when you study her history.
