I am back from Oslo, actually it was a day trip. However, I am planning to stay a few more days there right before I will leave this beautiful country.
My very first impression was that it was an ugly city. I didn't visit basically anywhere, so this is not my final conclusion and I am sure that I will love Oslo in three weeks. ;)
Why my first impression is so negative? The answear: The bus took me by the port side and this area reminded me from Tallinn suburban area.. Also, the railway station was full of all kind of suspicious people (drug addicts etc.) despite there was polices.. I think they don't do everything they can to clean it from drugs.
If I compare Kristiansand, Stavanger and Oslo with each other, Stavanger is absolutely the most beautiful from these. The downtown is clean, there is a nice church build on the rock, and my favorite is the fountain in the middle of the downtown of Stavanger.
Krisitansand takes the second place. I am glad that I chose this city. This is very different from Helsinki or from the cities in Finland that I know because of wooden houses. It seems that most of the houses in the downtown are built of wood. Also there are some nice big residences by the river side.
Oslo has the third place because I don't know enough the advantages of Oslo.... I am going to write something about Oslo more in the future, deal? :)

Tomorrow is the National day of Norway, today is Saturday (or Shabbath) and the weather is so beautiful once again. I think I will head outdoors today. :)

By the way, I am going to add some photos when I get back to Finland because I forgot the cable of my digital camera to Finland.. So you need to waite a few more weeks for the photos.

Tomorrow, on National Day there is some kind of musical etc. in Filadelfia and perhaps I will go there in the evening. The name of this musical/film or whatever :) is "Covenant"...
